Katherine McPhee vs Taylor Swift – who wore it best?
It's been a battle between the US pop princesses this week as American Idol's Katherine McPhee takes on Taylor Swift in this little French Connection number.
While McPhee opted for black flats and hot pink lippie in Beverly Hills, Taylor went for gold Louboutins and a very in coral lip shade for a premiere in Nashville.

But the one thing we all want to know - Who do you think wore it best?
Katy’s HAPPY
Katy was snapped outside Claridges in London last night after recording at the ITV studios.
She looked gorgeous in a tight black mini, knee high socks, laced boots and a top emplazoned with 'HAPPY'.
Lets face it though - if we had such a fantastic career, an amazing figure, countless adoring fans and beautiful Russel as a fiance, we'd be happy too!

Jedward go topless!
We never thought we would see Jedward looking so, errr, handsome!
It has to be said that the pair do look pretty gorgeous in this picture that they posted on their Twitter page.
The pair tweeted , "YOU ASKED FOR IT, WE GAVE IT"

Have you seen her dress????
The 67th Venice film festival kicked off this week, and as with all awards there are some unusual dresses.
Has anyone taken 'eye catching' too far?

Is Rihanna’s double any good?

The 'Te Amo' singer has only gone and made it into the best hall of fame in ever: Madame Tussauds in Washington DC, (unfortunately for us Brits).
Rihanna's waxwork will be brushing shoulders with the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Brang-elina, Winston Churchill, Muhammad Ali, Ella Fitzgerald and the lady herself, Madame Tussaud! Come dine with me line up..... If only.
She is said to 'absolutely love' the teams handy work. What do you think?

Rihanna aided the style department, by generously donating her outfit she wore to the French design house during Paris fashion week last year. The studio artists sifted through hours of video footage and tons of photos to ensure they captured the singers attitude and signature look.
With 7 number one singles and 3 Grammies under her belt, Robyn 'Rihanna' Fenty isn't just a superb performer. She also acts as one of Barbados' honorary cultural ambassadors: Is the founder of her Believe Foundation which helps terminally ill children, and supports several other charities including Stand up to cancer and the United Nations Children's Fund. Not only that, the commendable star has helped raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and bone Marrow donation. Proof that pop stars are a good thing!
Leeds Festival gets the Minx thumbs up!
Over the bank holiday weekend, 3 of our wonderful Minx girls survived 'the best rock festival in the world.' With Headliners such as Arcade fire, Blink 182, and G&R, it was set to be a fantastic few days!
If you weren't lucky enough to get tickets here are a few of the highlights:

There are always rummors during the festival. Secret gigs, and false news from the outside. But the big one this year was that Guns and Roses weren't going to play Leeds at all after playing an hour late at sister festival, Reading. But what did you think of their performance? Did he really need 5 costume changes? Or did he totally blow you away? After all he is Axl Rose....
Weezers front man - River Coumo evading the security staff and joining the crowd during Buddy Holly.....
Ritzy Bryan during her gig with The joy Formidable failing to smash up her guitar - it must have been made from steal or something!
And what about The Drums 'suprise' for Leeds - Not playing their most famous song??? Lets Go Surfing. Are they big enough to get away with it or was it a well thought out plan to boost tour sales?
The much antisipated return of The Libertines, what do you think?
Poor Chris Cain from We Are Scientists nearly didn't even make it to England after his Tour bus left without him in Switzerland, leaving him to catch up on the train!

None of our Minxets can come to an agrement on the best live act. Incase your wondering - The G&R enthusiast Agi stayed true, and gave them her number one. Emily loved her 1st ever festival and put Blink 182 at her top spot. And myself (Amy, on my 4th year of Leeds), if i had to choose one... its a toughie, but Arcade Fire. I think.....

Tickets are on sale now for next year. (The main release date is usally 31st March.)
Best Dressed Emmys 2010
The Emmys present the media and us with a great time to critique the clothing of everyone who walks down the red carpet. The common trend was to wear small white dresses, but some people did step out of their comfort zone and go with something a little more colorful. Here are some of our minx favourites.

Lea Michele (left) from Glee
The combination of the Glee star's dramatic Oscar de la Renta gown and breezy hairdo was certainly something to sing about and not dis-similar to our Twilight gown.

Claire Danes(right) brought the glamour on the red carpet in an Armani Privé gown.

NBC's Undercover's series has yet to premiere in the US nevermind the UK, but between her flawless Ina Soltani gown and her makeup, Gugu Mbatha-Raw (left) has already given us a reason to tune in. We love everything about this dress - the sweatheart neckline and the on trend nude colour.

Vampire Diaries's Nina Dobrev (right) looking gorgeous on the red carpet with a fabulous Zuhair Murad gown.

Dianna Agron (left) from Glee found a princess perfect gown in this ultra-feminine Carolina Herrera. Look out for a very similar Minx gown coming late November.

Talk About A Great Shopping Experience !
As you know, Minx is in the excited at the opening of another store in Newcastle's Eldon Garden. As we speak the shopfitters are hard at work and we have been looking at design layouts of other retails stores. However we were just gobsmacked by the design of the Armani store on 5th Avenue, New York.
The flagship store is so ambitious and elegant that it virtually upstages the nearby cathedral, has been years in the planning, and has been designed by Italian architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksa.
The glittering glass prism has a white plastic staircase as its centrepiece and brings the world of Armani under one roof, from the chic Black Label to the sportswear line ea7 to the exquisite interior objects of Armani/Casa. It’s a store that promises new heights and realized dreams—for fashion and for the New York.
